- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have come to Dr. Shaikh for a range of typical things over the last 5-8 years; he has a cheerful demeanor and good bedside manner. He is patient and explains things well. He takes the time with you. He isn't a pill pusher, either, which I like. He first recommends common sense measures (like drinking tons of hot water many times a day for nasal colds). I really like his sensitivity to covering the Nature bases first before turning to pharmaceutical measures. Last month I threw my back out, however, and was in tremendous pain. Instead of going to the ER I went straight to Shaikh, who gave me some powerful anti inflammatory injections that allowed me to move again in about an hour.
