- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Uncaring and un professional. Came to the office with torn cartilage in my wrist cart was to told by the hand specialist "Just learn to live with it". Because it was a work related injury, their obligation is to the insurance company, not the patient. Had to pay for a second opinion out of my own pocket. After looking at the MRI of my wrist, which also came out of my own pocket, The new surgeon said that my wrist should have been operated on in the first place since cartilage does not heal on it own. The spine specialist was just as bad as he did nothing but look at the MRI's and confirm the the eight discs in my spine were there and did nothing else.Not even an aspirin. If you have a work related injury your best bet is to pray to God that you have either a good lawyer or really good insurance.
